Ok started off by cloning out spots and inconsistancies in her skin. New layer with 6px gausian blur. Layer mask and paint on using 17% brush onto areas of face and skin needing softening.
Next step was a new layer that was burnt in at the edges to darken the background. This was set at about 70% opacity. Image flatened. Lens flare added added to the top right of a duplicate background layer.
Image flattened. Urban Acid (Cross Processed) duplicate image. Sepia duplicate image. Sepia image imported as new layer onto original file. Opacity set to about 40%. Cross processed image imported as new layer and set to 60% opacity.
Image flattened.
Curves adjustment layer. Layer mask to reduce intensity of curves on her face and hair.
Colour dropper used to capture slight yellow colour of the inner lens flare. Straight lines put from flare epicentre radiating outward. Line shape layers merged into one shape layer. Layer mask. Brush tool at 100% used to remove lines from on top of Sam and handbag. Line intencity was too high and didnt look right so opacity of layer reduced to about 25%.
Image flattened and saved.
Strobist info: Large softbox to camera right. Small hair light placed to camera left and behind model although she must have moved slightly hence the lack of hair light. Contrast Studio in Glasgow.
