Sam (first edit with digital art)
Sam Crowe in the studio. The base image was shot in high key format in the studio over in glasgow. Recently i have been annoyed that my fashion material while being good lacks a certain pop. I have therefore decided to try my hand at some more digital art and manipulation. I created a star field after downloading a few new brushes. I then made this into an overlay layer. After flattening the image i mixed in 57% sepia version and 25% Urban Acid (cross process) version.
As a first attempt at this stuff i'm quite happy appart from the slightly blocky colour gradient near to her face on the left hand side (see note).
Next time i will also reduce the halo arround herand perhaps darken the background before i do this to the image.
